Day 1 : Arrival in Auckland
On arrival in Auckland, ‘The City of Sails’, your New Zealand tour package will begin From the airport, the seat-in-coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to the hotel for check-in Overnight at the hotel
Day 2 : Auckland – Bay of IslandsAfter breakfast at the hotel, proceed towards the Bay of Islands
You will travel north over Auckland’s Harbour Bridge and along the Hibiscus Coast with an opportunity to view the mighty Kauri trees on the way. You will continue travelling through Whangarei, Northland’s only major city and port, before arriving in the mesmerising Bay of Islands
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a Guided Tour of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds to learn about New Zealand’s historic treaty signed between the British Crown and the Maori Chieftains. Following this, you will take the ‘Hole in the Rock and Cape Brett’ Cruise. If you wish, you may disembark from the cruise in Romantic Russell to explore this historic town and later return to Paihia by a ferry at your leisure (ferry ticket included)

Today will be at your leisure to enjoy the Bay of Islands and Northland on your own
Alternatively, you can also book an Optional Cape Reinga and 90 Mile Beach Day Tour or take time to explore the historic Russell or Kerikeri (optional activities not included in the tour price)

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will be free to further explore this beautiful region in the morning
In the afternoon, check-out and return to Auckland

Today, post breakfast, you will travel south through the fertile Waikato Region to Arrive at Waitomo
Here, you will enjoy a Guided Tour of the world-famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves including an underground boat ride with a view of millions of glow worms on the cavern roof
After the tour ends, you will continue over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach the ‘Thermal City’ of Rotorua

Today, you will proceed for the White Island Tour (approximately 80 minutes, depending on the conditions) to take in the scenery and marine life and enjoy the onboard commentary
On the way to the island, the crew will issue you with safety gear consisting of a hard hat and gas mask
Upon arrival, the vessel will anchor and ferry over to the island via inflatable boat to an existing concrete jetty. After climbing a short ladder, crossing a steel planking system and some boulders, reach the shore and start exploring New Zealand’s only live marine volcano. Trained tour guides will accompany you throughout
Enjoy a packed lunch before heading back to Rotorua

What to bring : Fully-enclosed shoes to wear on the island (no sandals or jandals allowed), a wet weather jacket, plenty of sunscreen and water, swimming gear (optional) in the summer months

Later, check-out and depart for Rotorua airport to catch a domestic flight to Christchurch (airfare not included)

Following breakfast, you will check-out of the hotel and depart for Queenstown
You will travel across the beautiful Canterbury Plains before arriving at Lake Tekapo
Then, ride south towards the small town of Twizel before continuing through the historic Central Otago region and Lake Wakatipu
On reaching the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown, check-in

Today, you will follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau
After entering the Eglinton Valley, pass through the awe-inspiring man-made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound
Here, you can enjoy a Cruise on this world famous fiord with the mighty Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls in the backdrop
Afterwards, return to Queenstown

Today, post breakfast, you will be free to explore the endless Optional Attractions available in Queenstown including Bungee Jumping, Jetboating, White Water Rafting, Gondola Rides and much more (optional activities not included in the tour price)

Continue on to Twizel and following the shores of Lake Pukaki reach ‘Aoraki’ Mt Cook, the cloud piercer
Also, visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before crossing the Canterbury Plains to Arrive in Christchurch
On arrival, check-in and overnight at the hotel

Today will be the last day of your New Zealand holiday from India
